About me Introduction

The worst interview question ever "Tell me a little about yourself." It's so open, what do they really want to hear?? Well, let's grab a coffee and We'll talk about it. â€‹

I drink Coffee like a Gilmore; I've been a single mom at times; I'm basically Lorelai except I don't have a best friend chef or aspirations of running my own inn.

 â€‹

So, what ARE my aspirations? Well Aside from becoming a mental health nurse practitioner by day, I'm a blogger! I want my blog to bring light into the world of darkness. Spread encouragement for the struggling and sometimes bring a laugh or a kick in the pants if you need one.

I've been married and divorced and remarried. So I've learned a lot about relationships, learned lessons about experiencing toxic dynamics. Learned that, at times, I've definitely been the toxic partner, and learned how to grow so I hope my lessons there can help others.

I'm constantly open to learning how to be a better partner, friend, and person in general.

I live to uplift and encourage others.

I am a mother, wife, nurse and most importantly a faithful follower of Christ.

My faith walk has been solid, and at times you might have even questioned if I still believed in God, if you had known me. (I can assure you, it was there just deeply buried).

I've dealt a lot with mental health struggles. I've suffered anxiety and depression in a very big way and lived to learn from it.

I'm a lifelong student, even when I'm not in school (though I do LOVE school), When I read, I read veraciously with notepads and highlighters to help me absorb and remember all that I can from what I'm reading so I can apply it to life.

I've grown up a Christian, but I've had struggles with doubt and fear, So I can easily relate. I've questioned by walk on more than one occasion. It's been tested and now holds firm as the biggest part of what makes me who I am.

Ultimately, I'm a woman that feels she has a bigger purpose.

A Purpose to be a witness

To be a light for Christ

To Spread cheer, kindness and encouragement

To anyone out there seeking the light!

So with that, this is Ms. Hillary A.
